Yesterday, a solemn ground breaking ceremony for the " Eton place•Dalian" project invested in by the Eton Properties Group at the expense of approximately RMB 6,000,000,000 yuan, and a world-class comprehensive project has entered into the commencing stage. Municipal leaders Zhang Chengyan, Xia Deren, Li Yongjin, Xiao Shengfeng, Liu Junwen and Dong Changhai et al attended the ceremony.
The project is situated on the site of the original animal zoo in the downtown commercial center with a total floor area about 800,000 M2, which consists of five high buildings with commercial skirt buildings. It integrates excellent luxury houses, a top-ranking office building, a super 5-star international hotel and service apartments, all while having detailed commercial and entertainment activities. Where the highest building has 81 floors, it will become the highest building in Dalian after completion. The project gathers an international top-ranking designing team, including the largest architectural firm NBBJ, ARUP, PB of New York and Levett＆Bailey. NBBJ ranks 4th place in the world while ARUP is the designer of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube of main stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The "Eton Place·Dalian" project was invested and developed by Eton Properties Group under Dr. Lucio C. Tan who currently resides in the Philippines while being a well-known overseas Chinese leader.In the groundbreaking ceremony, Lucio C.
