In 1996, Mr. Lucio C. Tan invested in and established Asia brewery (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Beijing. The company has four breweries and a distillery. The total investment is 200 million dollars.

Henan Asia Brewery (Luoyang) Co., Ltd.:
In December 1994, a joint venture company Asia Brewery (Luoyang) Co., Ltd. was set up with the joint investment of Mr. Lucio C. Tan and Luoyang Brewery. The total investment of the joint venture is 10 million dollars. The registered capital is 8 million dollars. The foreign side takes up 70% of the stock and the Chinese side takes up 30% of the stock. Currently, the company may produce 200,000 tons of beer a year and has 497 employees in service.
The company is in the ranks of top 30 industrial enterprises in Luoyang in terms of profit and tax. It is a Grade-A taxpayer in Luoyang and has obtained a market access permit for food quality and safety (QS) from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and received the titles of an excellent foreign invested enterprise and the most vibrant enterprise in Luoyang from the governments of Henan Province and Luoyang City.
The company acquired 238mu of land in Luolong Hi-tech Industrial Park, New District, Luoyang in July 2006 for building a new plant. The new plant has a 200kt/a beer project. The 100kt/a project in the first phase with 190 million yuan of investment was completed and started trial operation in March 2008. The second phase now is in a stage of drawing design and project preparation. |

Founded on August 1, 1994, it is a joint venture of Xinxiang Aero Brewery and Asia Brewery Group (Philippines). It is a model organization for AAA credit. The products of the company obtained the certification of ISO9001 Quality Management System and the certificates of HACCP Food Safety System and Market Access for Quality and Safety.

Located by the Xiang Lake, Nanchang, Asia Brewery (Nanchang) Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture company invested and controlled by Mr. Lucio C. Tan. The company covers 170,000㎡ of land and has more than 1,500 employees. Its annual beer production capacity is 300,000 tons. It is the largest beer producer in Jiangxi and a key enterprise in Jiangxi and Nanchang.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia brewery (China) Investment Co., Ltd. under Lucio C. Tan's Group of Companies, it was established in February 1998 through acquisition of the former Xiamen Brewery. Its predecessor was established in 1736, more than 260 years ago.
