Mr. Lucio C. Tan served as Vice Chairman of FFCCCII many years in early 1980s, was elected Chairman of the 23rd FFCCCII on March 16, 1999 and now is Permanent Honorary Chairman of FFCCCII. He follows his mother's teaching, donates money to numerous people, supports the needy and helps the poor.  


  In 1984, he established "Asia brewery Medical Scholarship" to raise the medical level of the Philippines. 
  In 1984, he established "Level Advancing Foundation" with the intention of training teachers. 
  In 1986, he established Tan Yan Kee Foundation in his father's name.
  In 1990, he set up a scholarship in the University of the East, totaling two million dollars in the first five years. 
  Dr. Lucio C. Tan as the Board Chairman and CEO of Philippine Airlines announced on March 17, 2011 that the 20 domestic outlets and 25 internatonal outlets of Philippine Airlines will receive and transport the disaster relief materials to the areas stricken by earthquake and tsunami in Japan free of charge.  
  On March 22, 2011, Asia Brewery Co., Ltd. under Lucio C. Tan's Group of Companies donated 70,000 bottles of pure distilled water to the areas hit hard by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, initiating the free transport of disaster relief materials by Philippine Airlines.
