Eton employees experienced Paralympic spirits

Published:2008-09-18

On the afternoon of September 8, 2008, the colleagues from Beijing Management Center of Eton Group and project companies attended the activity of watching Paralympic track and field events in "Bird's Nest" organized by the office at Balizhuang, Chaoyang District.

Before the match, under the guidance of volunteers, we waved our arms, raised thumbs, man-shaped waves and other encouraging gestures in rhythm. During the match, we cheered up for the disabled players.

The match in the evening had running, javelin, shot, wheelchair relay and other events. The disabled players showed us the charm of athletic sports and their tenacity. Their bravery, perseverance and adamancy won the applause of tens of thousand people on the stands.

In my eyes, disabled players are unfortunate, but they themselves said they are lucky because although life closed one door before them, but it opened another door for them, which enables them to create greater value of life.

At a glimpse of Paralympic, we understood why people say "Paralympic is a sports feast in which both spirit and competition are wonderful". Disabled players'yearning for light, happiness and vitality was fully reflected in Paralympic. Their joy and shouts told us how magical the life force is. Their optimism and easiness inspired me that we should cherish our life.

The indomitable and tenacious spirit of disabled players is a renewal to our soul. In this harvest season, we reaped the upgrading of soul, noted down the perpetual spirit of the Paralympic and cherished it in our hearts.

The incredible trip to "Bird's Nest" brought us an incredible memory. We will value more of life opportunities, health and happiness!
